To warn drivers against purchasing counterfeit parts for their cars or SUVs, Hyundai has launched a campaign highlighting the dangers of using non-Hyundai parts. In a series of videos released on their YouTube channel, Hyundai gives car owners a dramatic look into what can happen if they choose to outfit their vehicles with recycled or counterfeit components.

During this year’s Super Bowl, Hyundai ran four different TV spots highlighting their vehicles, and out of the group of ads, the brand’s hilarious “First Date” commercial, featuring comedian Kevin Hart, won USA Today’s prestigious Ad Meter. This marks the first time an automotive company has won the coveted accolade and stands as a proud moment for Hyundai and the automotive world alike.

Everyone get your appetites ready because the 35th Annual Sertoma Chili Cook-Off is scheduled to be held at Springfield Expo Center on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016! The popular fundraising event, benefiting the Springfield Boys & Girls Clubs, will provide attendees with the chance to taste top-notch chili dishes from some of the area’s best cooks and enjoy a wide variety of entertainment, including live music!

Way back in March, we told you there was a possibility the Hyundai Santa Cruz Concept that debuted at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show could go into production, and now it seems this is exactly what Hyundai is planning to do. Just recently in an interview with Motoring, Hyundai Motor America CEO Dave Zuchowski revealed new information about the future of the small pickup truck and it was nothing short of positive.

Reliable at Chestnut and 65’s 5th Annual Celebrity Spokes Dog Contest went off without a hitch this year and drew in tons of eligible canines from throughout the Springfield area. With so many cute and cuddly applicants, voters had a hard time choosing their favorite dog, but in the end, an adorable pup by the name of Nico was received the most votes, becoming our grand prize winner!

Hyundai is making headway in the hybrid and EV segments with the upcoming release of their brand-new model: the IONIQ. Slated to debut at the 2016 New York Auto Show, the model is the first of its kind to be offered with either an electric powertrain, gas/electric hybrid powertrain or plug-in gas/electric hybrid powertrain in one body type. Due to this unique availability, the IONIQ will better suit a range of drivers and draw in a wide variety of car buyers across the nation.

With our Reliable Celebrity Spokes Dog Contest almost over, we recently held our last dealership event promoting the month-long competition. On Saturday, Dec. 12, people from all throughout Springfield stopped by our dealership with their pups to snap photos with Santa and enter their four-legged friends into our contest.

The top-of-the-line G90 full-size sedan is one of six upcoming vehicles said to live under the new Genesis nameplate, and to get buyers excited for its arrival, Hyundai has revealed a brand-new rendering of the model, providing insight into the sub-brands unique identity.

There have been talks about a Genesis sub-brand for years in the auto industry and now Hyundai has officially confirmed that the Genesis name will indeed be used to launch their new high-end luxury line. The Genesis model, among other luxury cars, will live under the sub-brand, differentiating them from other cars in Hyundai's roster.
