With our Reliable Celebrity Spokes Dog Contest almost over, we recently held our last dealership event promoting the month-long competition. On Saturday, Dec. 12, people from all throughout Springfield stopped by our dealership with their pups to snap photos with Santa and enter their four-legged friends into our contest.
If you’ve been following our blog, you’d know that Hyundai recently announced the launch of their Genesis sub-brand which will feature a new lineup of luxury models. The top-of-the-line G90 full-size sedan is one of six upcoming vehicles said to live under the new Genesis nameplate, and to get buyers excited for its arrival, Hyundai has revealed a brand-new rendering of the model, providing insight into the sub-brands unique identity.
There have been talks about a Genesis sub-brand for years in the auto industry and now Hyundai has officially confirmed that the Genesis name will indeed be used to launch their new high-end luxury line. The Genesis model, among other luxury cars, will live under the sub-brand, differentiating them from other cars in Hyundai's roster.
Due to an outpouring of positive feedback, Reliable at Chestnut and 65 decided to bring back the Celebrity Spokes Dog Contest for another year! Beginning on November 19, 2015, local dog owners can enter their pet into the "pup-ular" contest for the chance to have their dog named Reliable's official spokes dog and to appear in TV, online and print ads for our dealership throughout 2016!
Hyundai has finally released details about the incoming 2016 Azera and Genesis models that will be arriving at Reliable Hyundai within the coming months. For the new model year, each nameplate receives slight technology upgrades and new standard features on select trims across their lineups.

With a fuel-cell model already on the market, Hyundai is now looking to expand its lineup to include both hybrid and electric cars. According to a variety of sources, the automaker is currently working on developing the models, which could begin arriving on the market within two years.
