On September 4 in Washington, D.C., Hyundai Hope on Wheels® held its annual gala to mark 28 years of continuous advancements in pediatric cancer research. Supported by Hyundai Motor America alongside its network of more than 855 U.S. dealership partners, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization convened congressional representatives, Hyundai leadership, scientific researchers, clinicians, childhood cancer survivors, and families. Together, attendees celebrated a historic milestone: achieving $303 million lifetime contributions dedicated to eliminating pediatric cancer.

 
Cancer can affect people at any stage of life, but it feels especially heartbreaking when a child faces such a serious illness. While many cancers are treatable, not all are, so Hyundai launched the Hope on Wheels initiative to fund research to improve survival rates.

 
Hyundai has earned a reputation as one of the world's most generous automakers. It demonstrates genuine passion and commitment to the causes it champions. Their most recent major contribution—announced on May 30th—is a gift to the Dixboro Historic School House, a cherished landmark in Superior Township.

 
Hyundai recently celebrated a significant triumph at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 120, securing the top two positions. This victory marked the first win of the racing season for both drivers and also supported a charitable cause, raising funds in the process.
