Hyundai originally introduced the Elantra Hybrid in 2021, and it proved so successful that the company didn't feel the need to make any changes for the 2022 model. 2022 Elantra Hybrid Trims & Features

The 2022 Elantra Hybrid is available in your choice of Blue or Limited trim levels. Both trim levels feature many of the same standard features, but the Limited package includes many add-ons. This includes upgrades like full LED headlights and taillights, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, and a power tilt-and-slide sunroof. The Elantra Hybrid Limited also boasts improved styling and comfort thanks to additions like leather seating, chrome-trimmed windows, heated and ventilated seats, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen display.

2022 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Horsepower

No matter which trim package you choose, the Elantra Hybrid will be powered by a 1.6-liter, inline 4-cylinder, gasoline direct injection hybrid engine capable of producing 106 horsepower. This is combined with a 43-horsepower, 32-kW electric motor powered by a 240-volt lithium-ion polymer battery. The vehicle also features a 6-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission. Both the Blue and Limited packages are capable of getting up to 50 miles per gallon combined highway/city. However, the Blue package does offer slightly better fuel efficiency, but only by a few miles per gallon.

The 2022 Elantra Hybrid includes a wide range of standard safety features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, and Electronic Parking Brake. However, the Ultimate package also includes many other additional safety features like Highway Driving Assist, Parking Distance Warning, Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Smart Cruise Control.
