What's New for the 2022 Hyundai Accent?
The popular Hyundai Accent was completely redesigned just a few years ago. As a result, very few changes were deemed necessary. Starting in 2022, manual transmission is no longer available. The SE and SEL models are gaining an anti-theft immobilizer for added security.
2022 Accent Trims & Features
The three trim levels of the Accent are known as the SE, SEL, and Limited. Inside the SE, drivers find a 5-inch central display, Bluetooth, and a USB port. Stepping up to the SEL model of the Accent adds automatic headlights, alloy wheels, and foglights. The cabin upgrades to a 7-inch touchscreen and gains Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. And if buyers opt for the Limited model, their Accent will have LED headlights and heated front seats. It will also have a push-button start and automatic climate control.

2022 Hyundai Accent Horsepower
A 1.6L inline-four-cylinder engine is standard for all 2022 Accent models. It generates 120-horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque. Starting this year, the only option is a continuously variable transmission. This provides drivers with excellent fuel economy and a smooth experience.
Hyundai Accent Safety
The Hyundai Accent was designed with safety in mind. It is available with a forward-collision warning, which scans the road ahead for potential hazards. The Accent can also be equipped with automatic emergency braking, which applies the brakes if the driver does not react in time.
