Hyundai is making headway in the hybrid and EV segments with the upcoming release of their brand-new model: the IONIQ. Slated to debut at the 2016 New York Auto Show, the model is the first of its kind to be offered with either an electric powertrain, gas/electric hybrid powertrain or plug-in gas/electric hybrid powertrain in one body type. Due to this unique availability, the IONIQ will better suit a range of drivers and draw in a wide variety of car buyers across the nation.

With our Reliable Celebrity Spokes Dog Contest almost over, we recently held our last dealership event promoting the month-long competition. On Saturday, Dec. 12, people from all throughout Springfield stopped by our dealership with their pups to snap photos with Santa and enter their four-legged friends into our contest.

If you’ve been following our blog, you’d know that Hyundai recently announced the launch of their Genesis sub-brand which will feature a new lineup of luxury models. The top-of-the-line G90 full-size sedan is one of six upcoming vehicles said to live under the new Genesis nameplate, and to get buyers excited for its arrival, Hyundai has revealed a brand-new rendering of the model, providing insight into the sub-brands unique identity.

There have been talks about a Genesis sub-brand for years in the auto industry and now Hyundai has officially confirmed that the Genesis name will indeed be used to launch their new high-end luxury line. The Genesis model, among other luxury cars, will live under the sub-brand, differentiating them from other cars in Hyundai's roster.
