AutoPacific recently unveiled the list of winners for their 19th Annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards and the 2015 Hyundai Sonata was lucky enough to be among the pack. Known for its impeccable looks and incredible quality, the Sonata won in the midsize sedan category. On top of this achievement, Hyundai also ranked among the top three brands when it comes to owner satisfaction, which is a huge honor for the South Korean automaker.

Move over GM, because there is a new head honcho in town. Hyundai has been announced as the new official automotive sponsor of the National Football League, a sponsorship previously held by the controversial American brand GM. The deal, which spans over the course of four years, will open up Hyundai to the NFL's large fanbase, giving them the ability to introduce more buyers to their lineup of dependable, high quality cars.

J.D. Power has released their annual U.S. Initial Quality Study and we are proud to announce that Hyundai received high praises. The automaker ranked fourth place among all brands in the study and second among all non-premium brands. Additionally, the 2015 Hyundai Tucson and Accent won in their individual segments for achieving the highest initial quality - an honor given to select brand-new models throughout the industry.

Hyundai is trying to make the lives of their drivers a little bit easier by filing a new patent for speed bump detection. By integrating the technology into their lineup, Hyundai owners will never have to worry about accidentally driving over a speed bump too fast and damaging their car in the process. The new feature could also be beneficial for new drivers who may need a little bit of assistance when tackling new obstacles, such as speed bumps, on the road.
