Frequently Asked Service Questions

How Often does Hyundai Recommend an Oil Change?

Hyundai recommends that drivers get an oil change every 3,000 miles to avoid potential issues. Some models only require the oil to be changed every 7,500 miles if the technology is updated and more advanced. Those who drive in severe weather conditions throughout the year should consider getting an oil change more frequently to avoid issues that can develop under the hood. Check your owner's manual to determine the automaker's specific recommendations for your model.

Do I Have to Pay For a Recall?

In most circumstances, the manufacturer is responsible for paying for recalls because the owner of the vehicle hasn't caused the defects. You can expect to receive a letter in the mail or an email informing you of the recall in advance to ensure you can schedule the necessary repairs to be made. You'll need to bring your vehicle to our service department within a specific timeframe to avoid having to pay for the repairs yourself. We recommend bringing the recall letter with you to the appointment.

When Should I Replace my Tires?

We suggest replacing your tires when there's approximately 4/32" of remaining tread depth left. The tires can also be replaced every three to four years, depending on how frequently you drive. Proper traction is necessary to remain safe on the road, especially in inclement weather conditions.

Can I Service a Vehicle with Reliable Hyundai Even if I Didn't Buy Here?

Our technicians are qualified to service vehicles that were not purchased at the dealership. We welcome all vehicle owners to schedule an appointment.

Will My Warranty Cover My Repairs?

Each warranty differs from the coverage provided and how long the warranty can be used while owning and operating the vehicle. Our team can look into your warranty and provide you with specific details to ensure you understand what type of work is covered. Any damage or wear that has occurred due to a lack of maintenance or an accident is typically not covered by most warranties.

We offer an extensive list of maintenance services to our customers at our service department. You can bring your vehicle in for an alignment, brake repair or replacement, transmission repairs, oil changes, tire rotation, AC repair, battery replacement, and more.
