What's New for the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe?
The Santa Fe is already one of the most popular crossover SUVs on the market, and as such, Hyundai didn't feel the need to make wholesale changes to the 2023 model. Slight tweaks allow the engine to deliver an additional 4 horsepower over the previous year's model, and there are also a few new color options available. The biggest changes are in terms of what features and amenities come with the different trim packages, as some that were previously only optional are now standard on the higher level packages.
What Are the 2023 Santa Fe Trims & Features?
The Santa Fe is available in five different trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy. All trims feature a full touchscreen color display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. The base SE package has an 8-inch display, while all other trims are upgraded with a 10.25-inch display. All packages except the SE also include heated front seats, push-button start, and wireless device charging. The Limited and Calligraphy packages also include additional safety features and amenities like remote smart parking assist, blind-spot view monitor, and surround view monitor.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Santa Fe Have?
The performance of the Santa Fe also differs depending on which trim level you choose. The SE, SEL, and XRT models all feature the same 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 191 horsepower. The Limited and Calligraphy models are also powered by a 2.5-liter I-4 engine, but this one is turbocharged to produce 281 horsepower. This provides much better power and acceleration and is capable of going from zero to 60 in only 6.2 seconds.
Both engines are matched up with 8-speed automatic transmission. All models come standard with front-wheel drive, but you can also upgrade to the optional all-wheel drive for improved handling and performance on rough, wet, or icy roads.
What Safety Features Does the 2023 Santa Fe Include?
All Santa Fe models include a range of important safety features, including adaptive cruise control, automatic front emergency braking, driver attention warning, safe exit assist, and lane following assist. Higher level trim packages also include additional safety features like highway driving assist, navigation-based smart cruise control, and forward and reverse parking distance warning.
