What's New for the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe?

The Hyundai Santa Fe has always been a strong choice for an SUV, but it gets some updates in 2022 that make it even more desirable than ever before. The Hyundai Santa Fe now offers more options for those who want a car that operates on alternative fuel. For the first time, you can now get a hybrid edition of the Santa Fe for the 2022 model year. The Santa Fe now comes with a plug-in hybrid edition that offers an exceptional range. This year, a new trim level also joins the lineup this year called the XRT, which brings a more off-road-oriented option to the lineup and provides a more chiseled look to match.

2022 Santa Fe Trims and Features

The Hyundai Santa Fe lineup includes four trim levels for the 2022 model year. The trim line starts with the SE, an eight-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SE also has cloth upholstery, common for base trim levels, but its seats also feature a special stain-resistant material for longevity. There are four USB ports with the base model spread out across the two rows. LED headlights and alloy wheels are other notable standard features. Additional amenities come with the second trim level, which is the SEL. The SEL has more safety technology and heated front seats. It also has a push-button start. Wireless device charging is added on this trim, and it gets Blue Link connected emergency and convenience services. The driver's seat is also power-adjustable. A hands-free liftgate, digital key, and leather steering wheel are available on this trim and standard on the higher-end trim levels. The Limited trim has 19-inch wheels made of alloy, and it also has a remote parking assist feature. Ambient lighting and larger wheels are added to the Calligraphy trim, which also has quilted leather seats. The XRT trim level has black exterior accents, including a black bumper and roof rails with a black finish.
