Closer Look at the 2021 Hyundai NEXO SUV Fuel Cell Vehicle
The future for powering vehicles appears to be all pointing to electric cars for a greener climate. However, the next power source may not necessarily be electrical, especially if the Hyundai NEXO SUV has anything to say about it.
Electric cars are great for the environment, right? Maybe, if you don't consider all the coal and natural gas required to create electricity for electric vehicles. So, how does the 2021 Hyundai NEXO enter the conversation, you may ask - hydrogen fuel cell technology.
The Hyundai NEXO SUVs electric motor is powered by hydrogen cells creating power through a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen. The waste produced by the process is water, much cleaner even than all-electric vehicles. Currently, California primarily has all the hydrogen fueling stations.
