What Are the Kona Trims & Features?

There are six trims for the 2021 Hyundai Kona. The first trim is the SE. With this trim, you'll get 16-inch alloy wheels for a sharp-looking exterior. The interior has several standard safety features along with a seven-inch display screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay pairing. The driver's seat is height-adjustable. Stepping up to the SEL trim, you will get slightly larger 17-inch wheels, roof rails, and heated mirrors. The interior adds some more conveniences and luxury features, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, keyless entry and ignition, and satellite radio.

More safety technology is standard as well. Even more luxury features are standard on the SEL Plus, including a sunroof and a wireless charging pad. This trim is powered by a different engine. The Limited trim has larger 18-inch wheels and chrome accents along its exterior. Leather seats and automatic climate control are standard. The Ultimate tops the list with a larger eight-inch infotainment system with navigation and more safety features.

How Much Power Does the Hyundai Kona Have?

There are two different engines available for the 2021 Kona. The first engine powers the SE through the SEL Plus. This engine is a 2.0L with four cylinders that create a maximum of 147 HP and 132 LB-FT of torque. It is connected to a six-speed transmission. The other trims have a turbocharged engine with a greater power output of 175 HP and a seven-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.
