What's New For the 2020 Hyundai Elantra?

This is the sixth generation of the Hyundai Elantra. This vehicle has really found its niche in the mid-size sedan market throughout the years. The latest version features a bigger interior than ever before, an updated computer and a different layout overall. Compared to earlier models, the footprint of the Elantra has grown in size quite a bit. It's a much safer and secure vehicle. Perfect for families or as a daily commuter vehicle for work, the latest edition of the Elantra comes with every feature you could ever want. This 2020 design is very sporty and luxurious from an exterior standpoint.

The SE, SE with SULEV, SEL, SEL with SULEV, Value Edition, Value Edition with SULEV, Eco, Limited, Limited with SULEV and Sport are the various trim levels that are available as part of the 2020 Elantra lineup. Unlike other vehicle manufacturers, Hyundai ensures that each of these options has a variety of different features. This really gives you endless options if you're shopping for a new vehicle. A 60/40 retractable seatback is included, new cooling options and 28 miles per gallon fuel efficiency rating combined.

2020 Hyundai Elantra Horsepower

The main engine option for the 2020 Hyundai Elantra is the 2.0-liter I-4. The transmission varies from model to model. Some of the more basic trim levels like the SE, will come with a 2-speed CVT w/OD. The higher-end models like the Sport include a 7-speed auto-shift manual w/OD and auto-manual. Efficiency will vary across the different options. Horsepower for the base level SE sits at 147. The Eco model is a bit lower with 128 horsepower.

2020 Hyundai Elantra Safety

An electronic stability control system is featured in each of the 2020 Elantra trim levels. A front anti-roll bar is included, along with gas pressurized front shocks and coil front springs. Four wheel anti-lock brakes are included, daytime running lamps, air bags throughout and an occupancy sensor are just some of the smaller but effective inclusions. Hyundai goes so far as to include a first aid kit with each of their new models. This is a manufacturer that cares a great deal about their customers when it comes to safety.
