The latest Kona is part of the first generation of Kona SUVs that launched in 2018. Therefore, Kona hasn't undergone many substantial changes. The latest Kona gets some minor adjustments to its list of standard and optional amenities. For starters, you'll get an impressive number of features for your money. Beginning with the SE, there are five trim levels in the 2020 Hyundai Kona. The SE gets a seven-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The base trim also has a backup camera with parking sensors. The SEL adds heated front seats, a push-button start, and premium 17-inch alloy wheels. 2020 Kona Powertrain Options

2020 Hyundai KonaThe 2020 Kona is available with two engines. The base is a four-cylinder with a 2.0L displacement capacity. The base engine has a power output of 147 HP at 6,200 RPM. Its torque production is 132 LB-FT at 4,500 RPM. This engine comes standard on the first two trim levels. The second two trims get a more powerful turbo engine. This engine has a 1.6L displacement capacity. It boosts the Kona's power potential to 175 HP at 5,500 RPM. The turbo engine can produce 195 LB-Ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain, but all-wheel drive is available. The base engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The second engine has a seven-speed automatic transmission.
