Hyundai Motor Group remains steadfast in its pursuit of a sustainable future. In partnership with Glovis America, the company has recently launched 21 Hyundai XCIENT hydrogen-powered electric semi-trucks for clean logistics. Hyundai states that these emission-free trucks will transport vehicle parts from suppliers in the region to its Metaplant facility.
The operation will initially use a temporary hydrogen refueling station, with plans to install a permanent one later. This initiative could potentially transform the trucking industry, as hydrogen produces significantly fewer emissions than diesel and other fuels.
