Longtime art fans will be pleased to know that Southwest Missouri's largest fine arts festival, Artsfest, will once again be open to the public May 2-3 on Historic Walnut Street. An annual event garnering a wide range of spectators each year, Artsfest will showcase artwork from over 140 artists during its two-day run. From ceramics and paintings to drawings and sculptures, there will be a variety of art forms for attendees to view at this year’s festival.

Artsfest is a premier event held in the Springfield area that highlights artwork from artists all across the country. During the festival, guests will be able to admire several different forms of art, take in live performances on five different stages, and also enjoy delicious food from some of the area’s top restaurants and food vendors. For attendees with children, there will also be a hands-on kid's area, featuring a ceramic arts workshop, Chalk-It-Up and the Claymobile. With so much outstanding fine art to see and activities for the kids to enjoy, this year's Artsfest on Walnut Street is guaranteed to be an incredible event.
