Oktoberfest Village at Taste of Springfield is almost here again and we're proud to announce that Reliable Imports will be sponsoring this year's festivities! Slated to take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, in Downtown Springfield on Park Central Square, Oktoberfest Village is one portion of the annual Taste of Springfield festival, which stands as the city's most-attended single day event. The village is held each year in celebration of Germany's largest 16-day festival, Oktoberfest, honoring Bavarian culture.
Both Oktoberfest Village and Taste of Springfield are free events open to the public. The village opens up at 11 a.m. on the day of the festival, while Taste of Springfield begins at 12 p.m. We encourage you to stop by Oktoberfest Village and get a taste of some of the best imported beers in the world. When you're done, you can then head over to Taste of Springfield and try food samples from over 30 local restaurants - a great treat! Musical performances will also be held throughout the day for your enjoyment, so get ready to have a good time.
