Springfield's biggest summer party, the 78th Annual Ozark Empire Fair, will be back for another year at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds from July 24 - Aug. 2. Open to the public, the yearly event, which is a main fixture in the Springfield community, offers an incredible mix of activities for children and adults to enjoy, including pig races, live musical performances and a heavy helping of carnival rides! Come out and help get the party started on Thursday, July 24, when the fair opens its gates. There will be an incredible performance by '90s rockers Third Eye Blind that will set the tone for the 10-day celebration!

Aside from the alternative sounds of Third Eye Blind, country stars Randy Houser and Easton Corbin will be hitting the stage during the weeklong festival, along with their special guests The Farm and The Mark Chapman Band. The Outlaw Nationals Monster Truck Show will also be held on Saturday, July 26, and a motocross racing and freestyle show will take place on Wednesday, July 30. If you want to attend the 78th Annual Ozark Empire Fair, admission is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6-12 and free for those five and under. You can purchase tickets at the fair gates for single day admission; parking is $4.
