What's New For the 2021 Hyundai Venue?

The Hyundai Venue, an extra-small crossover, adds even more value in 2021, enhancing its reputation as one of the most value-oriented vehicles. The Hyundai Venue gets various upgrades in 2021 that add to its appeal. Now there's more standard equipment on most trims, emphasizing upgrading the mid-level trims. The SEL, for instance, adds new wheels and more safety features. The other main change for the Venue in 2021 is an update to the mechanical system with the deletion of a manual transmission, which leaves all trims with a continuously variable automatic transmission.

2021 Venue Has Abundant Features

The same Venue trim lineup returns for 2021. The Venue family starts with the base trim called the SE. The SE has an excellent package of standard features with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a user-friendly eight-inch display to provide quick and convenient access to apps and music. There's a four-speaker sound system on this trim level and some additional safety aids.

The mid-level trim is the SEL. From the outside, the SEL is distinguished by LED lighting all around and heated side mirrors. With this trim, you'll get extra USB ports and an upgraded audio system with six speakers rather than four. This trim adds more luxury elements, including a leather-wrapped shift knob and wheel. A package is available for the SEL that also adds navigation, a sunroof, heated front seats, and a Connected Car system with communication and safety features. The top trim, which is the Denim, adds the package's contents plus simulated leather seats and a special two-tone paint color, the lone paint selection available for the trim.

The Venue has one engine for all three trims, a 1.6L DPI 4-cylinder with a power output of 121 HP. This year, all trim levels have an automatic transmission for convenience. They all get front-wheel drive as the drivetrain.
