The Ozark Empire Fair is celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year, and as per usual, it’s bringing 10 days of fun and non-stop entertainment to the people of Springfield. Scheduled to take place from July 23-Aug. 7, the fair will once again feature musical performances, exhibits, livestock and plenty of interactive activities for all ages to take part in.
There’s so much to see and do at the Ozark Empire Fair and you won’t want to miss a moment of it. The KY3 Grandstand is back again for 2016, offering eight days of entertainment, including musical performances from the likes of .38 Special, Chris Janson and Meghan Linsey, along with live motocross, rodeo and outlaw truck shows. Additionally, the Knights of Valor will be making a grand return to put on an incredible show at the Corwin Dodge Arena on August 3.
As always, the fair will also feature cooking contests, educational exhibits, live demonstrations, a derby contest and multiple stations where guests can enjoy crafting, knitting and developing on-the-spot creations. Area exhibitors will also be showing off their best livestock each day of the fair and educating guests about the animals.
