The 2015 Hyundai Sonata and Santa Fe Sport have been recognized as BEST 5 All-Around Performance cars by Automotive Science Group. The duo went head-to-head against top competitors from throughout the auto industry and outshined each one when it comes to performance. Additionally, the Sonata received the 2015 BEST Performance award for its low cost of ownership, taking home another big win for the Hyundai brand.
Automotive Science Group assessed a variety of 2015 models, using specific algorithmic calculations, to determine which car ranked well according to their Automotive Performance Index. Once finished, they found that both the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and Sonata each displayed excellent social, economic and environmental performance. With its refined ride quality, firm body structure and reduced vibration, the Sonata was the clear winner for the top performance award. The Santa Fe Sport's improved suspension and steering components also made it a first-class choice for recognition by the Automotive Science Group.
"The Automotive Science Group recognizes Hyundai’s continued commitment to innovation, while holding corporate social responsibility initiatives as fundamental pillars of product development," said Colby Self, managing director of the Automotive Science Group.
