As the recent recipient of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's Top Safety Pick Plus award, their highest accolade, it's clear that the 2015 Hyundai Genesis in Springfield does not hold back when it comes driver and passenger safety. The all-new luxury sedan features a variety of safety functions, which contribute to its optimal security standards, and to further highlight their extensive capabilities, Hyundai recently put the Genesis through a series of extreme blind test drives with the help of former racecar/stunt driver Rhys Millen.

In each of Hyundai's four blind test videos, Millen is seated behind the wheel of a blacked out Genesis with no way of seeing through the windows. He then proceeds to drive the car through a variety of pre-designed courses, which are each set up to test the Genesis' blind spot detection, emergency braking system, rear cross-traffic alert system and lane departure warning system. In an attempt to fully showcase the car's safety capabilities, each stunt features dangerous components, requiring there to be stunt coordinators in attendance at all times. To refrain from giving away too much information about each blind test, we encourage you to watch all of the videos below and see the Genesis' safety technologies in action.
